Availability: Part-Time (approx. 10-20 hrs/week)

Location: On-site - Forest Hills, Nashville, TN

Role Summary:

We are looking for a warm, organized, and proactively-minded professional to bring calm, order, and operational flow to the Harris household. You will manage daily home logistics, coordinate family rhythms, prepare meals, support childcare needs, and handle personal errands — allowing Harris and Kate to remain fully present for parenting, leadership, and creative work.

This is not a traditional nanny or housekeeper role. It is a household operations partner who understands that in an entrepreneurial household, life and work are integrated, not separated. Keeping the home clean, tidy, and running smoothly is a meaningful and genuine part of this role.

The right candidate will find deep satisfaction in creating order behind the scenes, genuinely love supporting families, and thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days look exactly the same.

Essential Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities will emerge as the household's needs evolve

  • Surface cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom upkeep, and general tidying as part of the regular weekly rhythm

  • Grocery shopping, pantry restocking, and managing household food inventory

  • Meal planning and preparation of healthy, family-friendly meals throughout the week

  • Laundry, folding, and clothing organization

  • Coordinating home maintenance vendors, repairs, and service appointments

  • Driving children to and from activities, appointments, and events as needed

  • Supporting homeschool rhythms and occasionally assisting a child with school projects

  • Running personal errands and managing time-sensitive task lists

  • Assisting with packing, unpacking, and travel preparation — preparing the home before and after family travel

  • Proactively tracking when supplies, maintenance, or logistics attention is needed and communicating clearly about household status

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in household management, personal assistant, nanny, or family support role strongly preferred

  • Comfortable with meal preparation and light cooking for a family

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record — required

  • Comfortable with children of varying ages; prior childcare experience a plus

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple competing household needs simultaneously

  • Warm, personable, and trustworthy — someone the whole family feels comfortable having in the home

  • Flexible availability that aligns with family rhythms, including occasional evenings and weekends

  • Based in or able to commute to the Forest Hills area of Nashville, TN

  • Discreet and respectful of household and family privacy
